È situata nei pressi di villanova fra parenzo , Visi-gnano e Torre. Anche in questa grotta si trovano incredibili stalagmiti e stalattiti, sculture sotterranee realizzate dal pa-ziente e lungo lavorio dell’acqua. la sua profondità comples-siva è di 132 m, tuttavia è accessibile ai visitatori fno ai suoi primi 60 m. Sul fondo si aprono dei pozzi verticali profondi 16 m con costante presenza d’acqua. le pareti laterali del-la grotta e il softto sono ricoperti da ricchi strati di calcite, stalattiti, stalagmiti e colonne di vari colori. le strane forme delle stalattiti e stalagmiti entusiasmano chiunque le osservi. In particolare spiccano delle alte “tende” lunghe una decina di metri, una statua della Madonna piuttosto realistica, la f-gura della pastora Milka, la torre pendente di Pisa nonché un pupazzo di neve che regge una faccola, diventato il simbolo della grotta.

In quest’ambiente vive il proteo, specie endemica del carso; si osservano inoltre granchietti trasparenti e insoliti insetti.

It is situated near nova vas , between Poreč, Višnjan and Tar. Tis cave is a treasury of stalagmites and stalactites, underground sculptures created by patient and centuries-long activity of water. It is 132 meters deep, and open for visitors only up to about 60 meters. In the bottom it has 16 meter-deep vertical wells with permanent under-ground water. Te lateral part and the ceiling of the cave are covered by richly decorated calcite layers, stalactites, stalagmites and dripstone columns of various colors. Its miraculous dripstone forms are fascinating, particularly the “curtains” some ten meters tall, the very realistic statue of the Holy Virgin, the fgure of shepherdess Milka, the lean-ing tower of Pisa, and Snowman the torchbearer that have become the cave symbol.

Here you will meet the Proteus anguinus, the endemic spe-cies that lives only in these karst areas, as well as miniature transparent crabs and insects.
